3.3 Great Commission
3.3 Disciple - baptize, teach
-Acts 4:23-31 Prayer for boldness.
-Grant boldness to speak the word. Signs and wonders will follow.
Most people come to Christ through a friend. We are always influencing someone. Once people come to Christ, we must baptize them and teach His commandments.
1. Jesus said to His followers, “Go everywhere and tell the Good News to
everyone.”
2. You have a choice to make – to do it, or not to do it.
3. You were made to serve and made for a mission.
4. God invites you to participate in the most significant cause in history.
5. Shift from self-centered thinking. Care about others.
6. Your goal is to figure out where others are in their spiritual journey and bring
them a step closer to knowing Christ.
7. The Bible says, “If you ask me, I will give you the nations; all the people on
earth will be yours.”
8. Pray for opportunities, courage, for those who will believe, for the spread of the
Gospel message and for more evangelists (those who share the Gospel message).
9. Pray for missionaries.
10. “Store up your treasures in Heaven.”
11. Think of creative ways to fulfill your commission.
12. We are all called.
13. “Only those who throw away their lives for my sake and for the sake of the
good news will ever know what it really means to live!”
14. Doing your part in the Great Commission is the secret to living a life of
significance.
15. Those who believe in the Son of God have the testimony of God in them.
16. Your lives are echoing the Master's word….you become like Him.
17. You’re the message: I Thessalonians 1:8
18. Your testimony of relationship with Christ, life lessons, Godly passions, the
good news.
19. “Someone willing to listen is more valuable than jewelry made of the finest
gold.”
20. The Good News: “Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, no longer
counting peoples' sins against them.”
21. “God does not want anyone to be lost, but He wants all people to change
their hearts and lives.”
22. The Bible says, “Make the most of your chances to tell others the good
news. Be wise in all your contacts with them.”
23. The eternal salvation of a single soul is more important than anything
else you will ever achieve in life. Only people are going to last forever.
24. You have a short time to fulfill your mission.
25. The Bible says, “You must warn them so they may live. If you don’t
speak out to warn the wicked to stop their evil ways, they will die in
their sin. But I will hold you responsible for their death.”
26. Paul said, “My life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work
assigned me by the Lord Jesus – the work of telling others the Good News.”
27. Jesus said, “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you;
and you will be my witnesses.”
28. You must abandon your agenda and accept God’s agenda for your life.
29. “Father, I want your will, not mine.”
30. You yield your rights, expectations, dreams, plans, and ambitions, to Him.
31. You stop praying selfish prayers like “God bless what I want to do.”
32. The Bible says, “Give yourselves completely to God, every part of you…
to be tools in the hands of God, to be used for His good purposes.”
33. If you will commit to fulfilling your mission in life no matter what it
costs, you will experience the blessing of God in ways that few people
ever experience.
34. There is almost nothing God won’t do for the man or woman who is
committed to serving the kingdom.
35. “Make the kingdom of God your primary concern.” Save one more for
Jesus! Make disciples, Baptize, teach them everything He commanded, I am with
you….”
